Total Vacancies
The total number of vacancies notified: 25,487 across CAPFs, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Category-wise and force-wise distribution is given in the official notification.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Class 10th / Matriculation passed on or before 01.01.2026.
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): 18 to 23 years (Born between 02.01.2003 and 01.01.2008). Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
- Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
Application Fee
₹100/- for General & OBC candidates.
Female, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
Exam Pattern (Computer Based Test)
- Total Questions: 80
- Total Marks: 160 (2 marks each question)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer

How to Apply Online
- Visit the SSC official website and complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
- Login and go to the “Live Applications” section.
- Select “Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026”.
- Fill all required details carefully.
- Upload photograph and signature as per SSC guidelines.
- Submit the form and pay the application fee (if applicable).
- Take a printout of the application form for future use.

- Domicile / PRC Certificate (if applicable)

Important Tips
