Total Vacancies

The total number of vacancies notified: 25,487 across CAPFs, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Category-wise and force-wise distribution is given in the official notification.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Class 10th / Matriculation passed on or before 01.01.2026.
  • Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): 18 to 23 years (Born between 02.01.2003 and 01.01.2008). Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Application Fee

₹100/- for General & OBC candidates.
Female, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Exam Pattern (Computer Based Test)

  • Total Questions: 80
  • Total Marks: 160 (2 marks each question)
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the SSC official website and complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
  2. Login and go to the “Live Applications” section.
  3. Select “Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026”.
  4. Fill all required details carefully.
  5. Upload photograph and signature as per SSC guidelines.
  6. Submit the form and pay the application fee (if applicable).
  7. Take a printout of the application form for future use.
